FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

CANCELLATION

We ask you to reschedule or cancel your appointment at least 3 hours before the start of your appointment. We understand that schedule conflicts and last minute changes are sometimes necessary. We respectfully ask you to inform us 24 hours in advance with a cancellation request. If the appointment is canceled last-minute (not 3 hours before the start of the appointment) we see this as a No-Show.

NOT SHOWING UP

We will accept one No-Show (not showing up for an appointment without notice or cancellation) at no charge to the customer. For the second (and subsequent) No-Show, the scheduled service fee will be charged with a Tikkie or at the time of your next visit.
We will send a reminder email 24 hours in advance to make sure your appointment still fits your schedule. Ultimately, it remains the responsibility of our guests to maintain their appointment time and to keep us informed if scheduling conflicts or changes arise.

DO YOU CUT HAIR FOR WOMEN?

Traditionally, barbershops are associated with men and masculine hairstyles. But in modern society, gender norms are changing and more and more women are choosing shorter hairstyles. For everyone who feels at home with us, we at Brabantse Barbers believe it is necessary to adapt to these changes and provide a lovely and comfortable environment. We believe in inclusivity and equitable treatment for all our clients, regardless of their gender, age or background. 

So if you are looking for a barber who can give you a short haircut, you are very welcome in our barbershop.

CHILDRENS CUT

A barbershop is different from a salon designed specifically for children, because there are barbers who perform shaves on clients. For the safety of the child, all customers and the hairdresser, we ask that children can sit still for at least 30 minutes and do not try to get out of their seats. We also expect children to calmly wait their turn, because we want to offer all our customers a relaxed atmosphere in which they can enjoy their haircut. However, this can be disrupted if children cannot sit still or behave properly. That's why we ask parents to prepare their children for their haircut by telling them what is expected of them and how to behave.

UNSATISFIED

At Brabantse Barbers we strive for the satisfaction of our customers. If you have had a treatment and are not satisfied with your experience, we invite you to return (within 3 working days of the appointment) for a correction treatment to ensure your satisfaction. 

WHY DO YOU NEED MY PHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL?

Phone Number: Since phone numbers are more unique than customer names, we use phone numbers to create or locate customer files in our appointment software. This helps prevent one customer from having multiple files in our system and also allows us to call a customer when an appointment has to be rescheduled or cannot go ahead.

E-mail address:  We ask for an email address to send appointment confirmations and reminders. Customers can unsubscribe from these emails at any time.

IS THE PRICE OF MY SERVICE REDUCED IF I OPT-OUT A PART OF THE SERVICE?

Services are charged as booked and include all parts of the treatment. We do not offer a discounted price when a customer chooses to opt out of any part of the service. (for example no washing or steam towel)

WHAT IF MY BARBER IS RUNNING BEHIND

Your time is precious. We do everything we can to stay on schedule, but sometimes circumstances prevent our barbers from starting their next appointment on time. If your hairdresser runs out of his previous treatment, we will let you know how much time you can expect for the delay.

We will do everything we can to ensure that this delay does not affect the end time of your appointment.

When another barber is available, you have the option to see the other barber for your service.
